Tye Tye drove all the way from KY by himself to spend the week with us. He’ll be driving Grandma home this weekend.
He got here just in time to go on Hanan’s field trip to the pumpkin patch. He’s been bonding with Bria as long as she’s not spitting up or pooping. Arleigh is having a blast.
Apparently it’s way cooler for Tye Tye to come and pick the girls up from school than have Mama show up. Tye Tye is also willing to watch “Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer” just as many times as Arleigh would like to watch it.
Hanan had fun showing him off on her field trip, even if the hay was scratchy and the only thing she likes about the field trip was the snack and the giant playhouse she was able to spend five minutes in. (Note to Grandpa… Hanan is now really disappointed that her cottage with running water and electricity didn’t show up while Grandma was here. All that and she still doesn’t get to be a flower girl!)
We have had lots of fun this week. We missed some outings because of the glow worm. We never made it to Jungle Golf or Williamsburg. Even MacArthur Center was put at the low end of the totem pole. We have been to TJ Maxx! The girls are still having so much fun, they never really noticed that we aren’t doing as much with our visitors as we used to do. Bria has become the greatest toy ever. Hanan especially is learning how to give her new sister some space.
Time to feed the baby. Keep checking back for pictures…
