Last night we ventured out of the house to the Kempsville Elementary Country Fair. The girls got to dress up in their Halloween costumes. We had three black kitties. Bria was awake at home but she slept through the entire fair. Arleigh and Hanan played just about every game that could be played from a cake walk to pumpkin bowling. P.E. has really been great for them. I didn’t realize what great softball arms they have until the bean bag toss. We saw lots of friends. That’s Annah Craft A.K.A. Fionna in the picture. Ray was at a wedding rehearsal so he missed out on all the fun. He got to see the costumes when we got home. I’m sure we’ll have more to post on Thursday.
Where do we start? We are a Navy family, constantly on the move finding the wind in our sails. Ray is the web designer, woodworker, scientist and sailor. B is the writer, bus driver, cook, tutor, housekeeper, substitute teacher and well lots of other things too.
We have big girls in band, cross country and all things high school, a very bossy nine year old into soccer and swimming, a quietly loud eight year old boy who has a love for all things lego and two funny, loving puppies.
There’s lots to do and so much fun. We count our many, many blessings daily.
Stay tuned… things might get interesting with our misadventures in parenting!
