I have to admit, we’re pretty cheap. I rarely ever take my kids to a professional photographer. I guess it started in Iceland. There were no professional photographers. I should say, no one who spoke English that we wanted to pay for. Last week, Ray wanted to pick up some new picture frames at Ikea for our freshly painted hallway upstairs. I started to realize just how few pictures I have of Bria that aren’t in her stroller or backpack.
Where do we start? We are a Navy family, constantly on the move finding the wind in our sails. Ray is the web designer, woodworker, scientist and sailor. B is the writer, bus driver, cook, tutor, housekeeper, substitute teacher and well lots of other things too.
We have big girls in band, cross country and all things high school, a very bossy nine year old into soccer and swimming, a quietly loud eight year old boy who has a love for all things lego and two funny, loving puppies.
There’s lots to do and so much fun. We count our many, many blessings daily.
Stay tuned… things might get interesting with our misadventures in parenting!
