Here we go. I did not rush into the bathroom this week only to find this written on a roll of toilet paper. I didn’t then rush off, legs crossed to find my camera and take a picture. I know the picture didn’t turn out so well, but how many could I not take?
After suffering for what seemed liked months with a bout of viral pink eye, I have not had clear eyes for the last couple of weeks. I did not wake up one morning to a husband with his own horrible case of pink eye. He’s not all effected by things coming near his eyes, touching his eyes or irritating them. So it was of course a joyous occasion all week to have him not suffering in silence.
We absolutely did not have snow on a Monday and 80 degree weather by the weekend. That would just be nuts. The girls didn’t have delayed school at the beginning of the week and start looking for their shorts by the end of the week. That would be crazy. Of course, I keep summer and winter clothes readily accessible at all times.
I didn’t get to hang out with these four cuties on Sat. and Sun. They don’t play together well at all. They also never totally entertain themselves with weird imaginary games, never needing to turn on a tv or video game.
Finally, I’m not going to have to do some serious shopping this week. Bria didn’t have tons of beautiful winter clothes in her closet, forcing me to struggle to find something for her to wear when it hit 85 degrees on Sunday. Every other girl didn’t have on a beautiful spring dress and sandals at church on Sunday while Bria had a mish mash skirt, onesie, weird looking shoes. I’m not sad that she’s growing up so fast and yet ecstatic that I get to go look for cutie patootie girlie clothes.
What did you not do this week?
