On Monday, I celebrated fourteen years of marriage to this guy. I know I’m a little late to post. I think he’ll forgive me. He knows what’s been going on around here. After 14 years, celebrate we did. I cheated this year. He’s so great he didn’t mind when I said we would go see this to celebrate.
It was sooooo good.We ate a fabulous steak house in downtown Norfolk and then raced with our friends to the show. We got there just in the nick of time. It was fabulous. I loved it! I think Ray did too. The only disappointing part of the night was that I paid so much money for tickets and then sat behind the Joly Green Giant. Seriously. The guy was enormous. The guy next to him didn’t even reach his neck. My sweet husband switched seats with me after the intermission.
I should really be telling you what a lucky girl I am. I married to a man who will suffer through an American Girl store even though his girls weren’t old enough to even understand where they were. He did that for me. He keeps up with a church website, a camp website and all sorts of other things for our church in spite of the fact that he works 12-14 hour days when he’s home. He is saint to put up with my messiness considering he has a serious case of OCD and type A personality syndrome. He loves his girls and would do anything for any one of us.
I’m a very lucky girl to have such a special man who would put up with all this for 14 years. I love you always Ray.
