My girls are blessed with the very best Daddy in the whole world. Right now, he is at Home Depot with Arleigh buying boards to finish up molding for the girls room. We’re getting ready to move, and still with some loving limitations, he let them choose the color they will have to live with for the next 6 months. (Bippity Boppity Blue is pretty cute.) He works tirelessly for us.
Just the fact that he puts up with me is blessing enough but he takes it much further. He plays with his girls, helps them with math makes sure they get special time with each night just before they fall asleep and I could go and on.
He doesn’t ask for much. After church today he wanted to eat at the food court at the exchange and get his hair cut. We insisted on somewhere else. We would up at California Pizza Kitchen. While it was his pick, I think it was really for his girls.
Thank you Ray for everything you do. Thanks for loving our girls the way you do. Thanks for putting up with me, my messiness and all those crazy ideas. I hope you have a Happy Father’s Day.
Now, if you have a Dad that’s still around, go give him a hug because I really wish I could hug mine.
