It’s Monday and it seems like we’ve been traveling for weeks. We’re back and I’m in need of some Not Me!s. It all started with MckMama. I always have fun reading what everyone else hasn’t done for the week. Make sure you head over and get your giggle for the day.

I absolutely didn’t dread attending a Navy MSC Ball this weekend only to find out it was both casual dress and Casino Night. We didn’t win the whole thing. This was not at all funny because Ray and I don’t gamble. The thought of laying down hard-earned money for a chance bet doesn’t make either of us cringe. I was not howling with laughter when Ray laid down a $40,000 bet. He wasn’t paid $100,000 on that bet. I absolutely never heard “You guys should be in Vegas!” at all that night. We didn’t have a blast.

We didn’t start with $10,000 and walk away with $1,047,000 in play money. That’s right! The next in line was more than $600,000 less than we had.

Dear friends didn’t insist on hosting our church small group last night so we wouldn’t have to kill ourselves getting ready. I didn’t offer to bring the main dish. I wasn’t rushing out the door to get there. When we got home I didn’t realize that I had left the stove burner on the whole 3 hours we were away. I didn’t hear my sweet husband ask how much that cost us in electricity only to let him know that I was saying a prayer of thanks that the house didn’t burn to the ground. That didn’t give me the shakes for the rest of the night.

I have not been thinking about a Girl Scout’s Tagalong Cookie Blizzard for weeks. My sweet husband didn’t pull into a DQ last night to surprise me only to find that there are no longer Girl Scout’s Tagalong Cookie Blizzards. I was not seriously bummed. I didn’t take it as a sign that I didn’t need a giant calorie fully loaded Blizzard. I didn’t eat a strawberry sundae in spite of my caloric warning.

Look at that. I didn’t think I would have nothing to write about.
