It’s been a long couple of weeks. I’m in the thick of purging, cleaning, turning over and the general mess of picking up after 5 years in one spot and moving across the country just in time for Christmas. Still, it’s Monday. I have pictures so here’s a short and Sweet No Me Post. Go on over to MckMama’s and check out all the other ones. I’m sure it will make you smile this morning.

We are not in full on back to school fun deciding each and every morning what’s appropriate and what’s (more importantly) not appropriate for school. Bria isn’t hanging on her sisters for attention knowing they are now away for most of the day. My darling almost 2-year old has not decided that she needs to accessorize like her sisters. She absolutely does not feel the need to wear a scarf and have a purse for every occasion.

This post will not only have pictures of Bria. She is not at all sad that she is left home alone with me every day. She doesn’t compensate for this feeling of loneliness by raiding the pantry and making messes in the floor. I never said that I would not allow my children to take things from a pantry without requesting them first. I am not eating my words when I find things like this when she is supposed to be watching Dora.

She is not making piles for herself and piles for Tucker. (The Dog.)

She doesn’t get dishcloths out to use as plates. You should not be asking yourself, “Where is her mother and who is taking these pictures!?!”She doesn’t prepare for the long winter ahead without her sisters by filling the sofa with corn syrup goodness hoping against hope that I will say yes to even one of the many “Minnies.” No, that’s not her pile of cereal still sitting on dishtowels in the background.

So I’m not cleaning up mess after sugary mess. What did you not do this week?
