It’s Bria’s Birthday and I’m so glad… Hope it’s the happiest birthday Bria ever had. It was… because of a special appearance by….

Uncle Dave!!!

Dave was in town all the way from Hawaii. He was at Arleigh’s 2nd birthday. In fact, I was teasing him. He was the only adult there that ate my Blue’s Clues cake. (Everyone else ate the chocolate made especially for adults.) His mouth must have been blue for a couple of days. On a side note, this is the only picture I got of Dave because I asked him to help by taking pictures. He was happy, I promise. Chantelle, he cleaned everything up. I miss him already!

Soooo….on to the rest of the post.

Miss Priss will turn 2 tomorrow. It makes me happy and sad all at the same time. For 5 years it was Hanan that made it feel that way… now there’s a new baby bringing up the rear. She is trying to do everything too fast for me. She’s too excited about a potty. She wants to run with her sisters and not be held. She’s a busy little girl with a really big temper. She wants to do things her way…like by answering any and all questions in song.

I packed up the girls and rushed off to Party City for birthday supplies at the last minute last weekend. I was fully expecting a Dora party, or Diego if she saw him first. She would have none of it. She wanted Abby Dabby! Abby Dabby it was.

I made the infamous ice cream sandwich cake. Who knew it would be 95 freaking degrees! (read the next sentence with a Wicked Witch of the East voice.) It melted… We had a few friends, with one family missing. The swine flu struck Virginia with a vengeance.

We kept things simple. One pinata, playing outside, pizza and cake. We remembered tatoos at the very last second. Here are some of the pictures….

Happy Birthday Bria. We love you big old bunches!!!
