Tennessee is blessed with more snow. I say blessed because I was talking to a friend about a particular verse the other day. I went looking for it and I stumbled on Philippians 2:14. “Do all things without grumbling or arguing.” I think I’ve hit my kids in the head with that one before. So, I’ll go about my snow day without arguing with God about the fact that I might have to provide the sparklers for the 4th of July party at school this summer.

Here’s how we spent the day… watching the snow from the front door.
Trying not to cough up a lung while appropriately dressed as a bride.
Trying to fix the treadmill again.

Leaving windows open with snow blowing in so as not to get high from the fumes.
Arleigh… ignoring her mother with a camera in her hand. Me… in shock and awe that her ipod wasn’t in hers. Wait. Is she hiding it in her left hand?
Then there’s this… I’m not really sure what she was doing. Her bestie just got her cast off. There was a chocolate candy hidden inside. Since there are currently Hershey kisses in the house… I’ll check later.
We made these little jobbers too. Soon there will be 56 of them. Iphone Valentines.

We printed these out and glued them to a smarties box. The girls are so excited to hand them out at the parties this morning. I’m glad they turned out. I’m also happy to tell you that I LOVE MY HUSBAND! He stood at the island, cutting, gluing, wrapping. He did more than I did. I love, love, love for everyone to be standing around the counter working on something together.

So now, it’s back to our regularly schedules programming. School, Glee, Girl Scouts, Piano, Homework, Laundry… and this floor seriously needs a good scrubbing. Where’s my fairy god mother when I need her?
