Bria had a big day yesterday. Can you tell?
She was the class Super Star. When Grandma asked what made her a Super Star, it was a little embarrassing to answer. “I wrote her name on a calendar.” It’s okay. She had big fun with her BFF Claire.
Being a Super Star means you get to take a poster board filled with your favorite things. You get to tell you class about your family, your pets, your favorite color and your favorite toy. She got to bring a special snack. She chose green and yellow cookies and apple juice.
All was wonderful except she came home with a band aid. She fell during recess but managed to finish up her tennis lesson with no problems. Which bring me to another topic… tennis.
This is Bria’s last month of tennis lessons. Oh to be a fly on the wall. We were discussing her latest moves a few days ago when Ray asked if she had hit anyone in tennis yet. I said that I didn’t think so. Then he says, “I wouldn’t have asked that about the other two would I?” Nope, but it’s what makes things fun around here.
Bria, we don’t need a date on a calendar to know you are a Super Star. You are our Super Star every day!
