So I haven’t participated in Sunday Snapshot in a long, long time. Like, before the rules changed in April. I covet a big fancy camera and know I would have absolutely no idea what to do with it. I’m also well aware that when you live on a island with sand in every crevice… things don’t live long especially in my incapable hands. So, the little point and shoot that Ray insisted that we take to China and my iPhone are currently the cameras of choice.

A few weeks ago, we were at Laniakea Beach one of my favorites, also known as turtle beach. When the sun sets, everything just seems like it will be okay. It’s like God’s grace is visible in the light. We joke every time that we head down on a Friday night that it’s where we will find our Aloha. On one of our many visits, Bria plopped down in the sand between the turtles and the ocean. I caught this…truly a snapshot of our current navy life. It is straight out of the camera and purely unedited. I’ll be checking out the other Sunday Snapshots to see if I can learn something.
